KVP&N's Technical Team Builds
Mobile Unit
For the past several months KVP&N's Tech has been working on developing a portable production unit.
This would allow KVP&N to bring both production costs and
production times down.
The equipment would
allow KVP&N to create on the fly video productions. This turn
key operation will be put into use in a live regional broadcast within the next few months.
KVP&N Works On Local Docu
During 2010, KVP&N spent some
3 months with the High flying and
very
exciting local horse drill team
"The Cariboo
Cowgirls"
documenting their very unique
skills.
The documentary will be
released in the spring/summer of 2011.
Volunteers come together to create The Williams Lake Daybreak 2010 Stampede Parade
KVP&N with the help of Shaw Community channel 10 & volunteers Dean Essex & Dale Taylor create this years parade.
The one hour proudction shot
with 3 cameras took some 60+ volunteer hours to bring together in a mult cam edit.
KVP&N would like to thank both Dean and Dale for recognizting the importance of community
programming and for their assistance in the production.
Local Blues Band Soup Bone & KVP&N Work together on Music Video
KVP&N was present on friday Feb. 5th at the Grey Fox pub to shoot a web video for the Soup Bone Blues Band.
The song highlighted in the Video is
an orginal called "Voodoo Doll".
This shoot was organized to give
Soup
Bone Blues Band a web presence. The Final version of the Video
along with their upcoming CD will be released in April 2010
Shaw Hires KVP&N As Independent Producers
For the past year (2010) KVP&N
has had the privilege to work closely with both the 100 Mile House and
the Willams Lake Communities. KVP&N says " It's been a wonderful
experience over the past year,
serving the communitties and the people of our region. We'd like to
thank Shaw TV for this opportunty and all community Leaders
and the Citizens for allowing us to report and keeping community
programming alive and healthy"
TSN and KVP&N in talks
KVP&N has been in discussion with the Willliams Lake
Stampede association and TSN in regards to covering the
2010 Williams Lake Stampede. Although no deal has been reached,
both KVP&N and the Stampede Association are excited at the prospect
of having the 84 year old event covered by such a dominant sports
network.
KVP&N Teams up with "ART"
The Artist Response Team enjoyed the
work that KVP&N did on
the
World Premiere " Up Your Watershed" DVD, that they have invited
KVP&N to join them at the Bell Peforming Arts Centre to shoot their
next music video
KVP&N says " we are proud to be part of a group that
has both an enviromental conscience and a
social responsibility.

" UP YOUR WATERSHED" at the Gibraltar room in Williams Lake, B.C.
Up your Watershed is a concert focusing on salmon and watershed
stewardship. It's more than just a concert it's and educational
program that brings kids together from various schools throughout
Williams Lake and teaches them about the environment in a fun yet
educational way! The DVD will be available to the students and
the
public 3 weeks following the concert and can be purchased exclusively
at the " Open Book" on Oliver st. in Williams Lake B.C.

KVP&N latest
production a
big hit
KVP&N's latest production is a big
hit with both local and international consumers.
KVP&N
created a 10 minute promotional video that focuses
on Williams Lake B.C. showcasing the
city's many
amenities as well as " places to see and things to do in and around
Williams Lake" The HD DVD will be available to
both
domestic and international clients by mid September. It
will be available and can be viewed at the Williams
Lake
Tourism Discovery Centre and at selective businesses.
Prominent
members of the community were at a private screening and had
some
great comments to add. Lorne Doerkson publisher of the
Williams
Lake Tribune "Great job, KVP&N covered everything "
Claudia Blair executive director of the Chamber of Commerce
said
" I love it, KVP&Ns focus on our modern city and
the cowboy
is wonderful"
Ralf Possinger a tourist from Munich Germany was quoted as saying
" these are the reasons why I visit Williams Lake
and the
surrounding area , awesome video"
